Unified Load Board: DAT + Truckstop + Direct in One View

The FreightConnect load board merges three sources into a single searchable feed, so carriers and carrier-brokers find loads in one place instead of juggling subscriptions.

Sources

| Source | What it is | |--------|-----------| | FreightConnect Direct | Loads posted natively by shippers on the platform — escrow-backed, featured placement | | DAT | Spot-market loads aggregated from the DAT load search network | | Truckstop | Loads aggregated from the Truckstop.com load search network |

Every load is labeled with its source. Direct loads sort first — they're escrow-funded and come from vetted shippers, so they're the highest-quality freight on the board.

Deduplication

When a shipper posts the same load both directly on FreightConnect and to an external board, the board shows it once — as the Direct posting. Dedupe matches on lane, pickup date, and equipment type, and Direct always wins, so you bid where payment is escrow-guaranteed.

Searching the Board

From the Loadboard page in your dashboard, filter by:

  • Origin / destination (city, state, or radius)
  • Pickup date window
  • Equipment type
  • Rate range

Board metrics (total loads, source mix, freshness) are available at a glance so you can tell how deep the current market is.

Bidding on Direct Loads

Direct postings accept in-platform bids. Submit your rate, the shipper reviews bids on their dashboard, and an accepted bid books the load — escrow is already funded, so there's no payment chase after delivery. See Escrow & Payments.

External (DAT/Truckstop) loads link out to the source contact — FreightConnect aggregates them for visibility but the transaction happens with the posting broker.

Sync Freshness

External sources sync on demand and on a rolling schedule. The board shows when each source last refreshed; you can trigger a re-sync from the board's toolbar.
